The CR 030 series belay device is a type of locking device with a built-in automatic cable locking mechanism.
During operation of the device, the cable smoothly stretches and retracts in the direction of the worker's movement, and at the slightest sign of a fall, the cable locking mechanism automatically locks, thereby stopping the fall.
The main difference of the CR030 series locking devices is a lightweight composite body, short cable length and low cost.
The swivel anchor, built into the body, eliminates twisting of the cable during operation. The light weight allows you to easily carry the device to the workplace.
In order to reduce the impact load on the human body, the device mechanism is equipped with a dynamic component that acts as an energy absorber at the moment of a fall.
The galvanized cable of the CR030 locking device is equipped with a swivel carabiner - a hook with an automatic lock and a 24 mm opening, as well as an impact indicator that allows you to detect the fact of a fall with the device, which will eliminate its further UNSAFE use.
